Slovenia has implemented the Use for the purpose of research or private study (Art. 5.3(n) InfoSoc) exception in Article 49b of the Copyright and Related Rights Act. The national exception closely resembles the EU exception.

Implementation summary:

This exception allows, for the purposes of research or individual acquisition of knowledge, the communication to the public by publicly accessible archives, libraries, museums and educational institutions of works from their collections on dedicated screens located on their premises, unless otherwise provided by the material licensing agreement.
