Slovenia has implemented the Use for the purpose of reconstructing a building (Art. 5.3(m) InfoSoc) exception in Article 44 of the Copyright and Related Rights Act. The national exception is slightly more restrictive than the EU exception.

Implementation summary:

This exception allows the owner of a work of architecture which has been executed to make reconstructions thereof, under the condition for the owner to respect the author’s right to integrity of the work, and where a work of architecture has been awarded a prize in an open contest - under the condition for the owner to obtain the consent of the author. The consent must not involve disproportionate costs for the owner or considerably prolong the time of reconstruction.
