Sweden has implemented the Use for the purpose of reconstructing a building (Art. 5.3(m) InfoSoc) exception in Article 26c of the Act (1960:729) on copyright in literary and artistic works. The national exception is slightly more restrictive than the EU exception.
Implementation summary:
According to Article 26c, the owner of a building or a useful artefact is entitled to alter the item without the consent of the author.

Remarks: Article 26c is introduced by Act 1993:790 and thus preceeds the InfoSoc directive. It does not follow the rationale or exactly correspond with the scope of art.5.3.m of the directive, however, it partially covers the scope of the exception by allowing the owner to use an architectural project or a building by altering the building.
