Poland has implemented the Use of public speeches and public lectures (Art. 5.3(f) InfoSoc) exception in Article 26' of the Copyright and Related Rights Act. The national exception is slightly more restrictive than the EU exception.

This exception allows for the use of political speeches and speeches given in public trials, as well as fragments of public speeches, lectures and sermons, to the extent justified by the informatory purpose. The provision expressly excludes from the scope of the exception publications of collections of such works.
