Hungary has implemented the Temporary acts of reproduction (Art. 5.1 InfoSoc) exception in Section 35(6) of the Copyright Act. The national exception closely resembles the EU exception.

This exception allows for the temporary reproduction, which is auxiliary or interim, and is an integral and essential part of a technological process with no independent economic significance, if its sole purpose is to enable i) transmission in a network between third parties by an intermediary service provider, or ii) the use of the work authorised by the author or authorised on the basis of the law.
