Press review (Art. 5.3(c) 1st part InfoSoc)
This (optional) exception or limitation allows reproduction by the press, as well as communication to the public or making available to the public - by any user - of published articles on current economic, political or religious topics or of broadcast works or other subject matter of the same character. The exception does not contain a quantitative threshold and permits the use of entire works, as well as a portion thereof. Additional criteria include an indication of the source and name of the author. This exception is not formally constricted by an obligation of use to an extent strictly justified by the informatory purpose, however it contains an opt-out option for the rightsholder.
